Maimana (BNA) Six Taliban militants including their notorious commander were killed in recent clashes with Afghan security forces in Pashton Koot district of Faryab province the night before last.
Apparently the clashes happened, when dozen terrorists have stormed on several Afghan security forces’ checkpoints in the district.
Col. Reza Rezaey spokesman of National Army first crop in Faryab province said BNA correspondent, six anti-government militants were killed following the clashes.
He added, there were no any casualties incurred to civilians and Afghan security forces at the end of the firefighting.
