You Are Solidarity Messengers And Main Motives of National Unity, President Ghani To Youth

Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in a meeting with a number of Kabul universities rectors, lecturers and students while addressing them said: “You are the messengers of solidarity and motives of national unity, a statement from the presidential press office said Tuesday. In the meeting which was held at the presidential palace, the president heard what Assistant Prof. Esmatullah Usmani and Assistant Prof. Jawid Seddiqui spoke representing others, focusing on the recent condition saying the ongoing situation was in the interest of no one, the statement said. They said they would allow no one to exploit the youth emotion in their personal interest, while welcoming that peaceful demonstration was the right of any Afghans, the statement quoted. Then the President said: “The recent attacks in which a number of our citizens lost their lives and sustained injuries were attack on the Afghan people and diplomatic norms.” “Your assertion makes me sure that we are going to the right direction. You are building Afghanistan and helping it reaches tranquility with this commitment that Afghanistan would reach its contrary to what the enemy wants,” the president assured.
The Kabul process conference could draw attention from the entire world countries who condemned the recent terrorist attack in the strongest possible term and praised the patience and bravery of the people, the statement quoted. “We shouldn’t let enemy endanger our unity, consensus and stability of the country,” said the president as quoted by the statement. He said peace roadmap has been provided, with the international supervision. We want peace with Pakistan. Afghanistan would be connected to Europe in the next five days, as he said his country has become an integral part of the central Asia and is now free of any certain countries and would sign trade and transit agreement with Uzbekistan in the next two months. Relation between Afghanistan and the central Asian nations has developed in any spheres compared to the last 15 years. Pointing to the security of the capital, the president said there was a need for a national consensus to help restore security in Kabul. The president emphasized that we should distinguish between positive and negative freedom. “We want to unite the people to overcome challenges and foreign interferences shouldn’t be allowed to disrupt us.”
He said he was not related to any certain tribe, ethnic, zone or language, but is a Muslim Afghan who respect equality between men and women. “We are facing four process of state building, national building, market and economy, peace and stability and for having a strong government, there was a need for a strong national consensus and to ensure peace and security we need professional forces,” the president said continuing his country has passed through four levels of security, economy and change in the culture of rule of law. He said the country’s system has become younger compared to the past six years, through employment of the youth and the employment process was going on transparently. Pointing to the students, he said: “You are the messenger of solidarity and the main motives of national unity. You can change the country’s pessimists to the right direction and the future is yours.” In the next few weeks, high council for human resources would be built to discuss about the universities, schools, through which the education curriculum would widely be changed. He asked the academic entities of the country to provide their suggestions and visions about, and share with the high human resources council, said the statement. He said India was ready to cooperate with Afghanistan to hold election and both parliamentary and presidential elections would duly be held.
