Kabul (BNA) Four people accused of narcotic drugs smuggling arrested by Afghan National Police in Nimroz province.
Col. Parwiz director of counter-narcotic in security command of Nimroz province told BNA, the smugglers while wanted to smuggle 1420 kilograms opium through a car type of Pickup arrested by police personnel in Marko desert located in 60 kilometers of Zarang city the provincial capital of the province.
Three Kalashnikovs, a PK machine gun and the car along with the narcotic drugs have been seized from the arrested people, source added.
Marko desert located near Helmand border and always witness of transit and trafficking of narcotic drugs.
