Kabul (BNA) Recently, Indian Minister for External Affairs, Ms. Soshma Swaraj had a friendly visit from Afghanistan.
During this visit, she attended at the ceremony held for hoisting the greatest national flag of Afghanistan on the hill of Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan of Kabul city. At this ceremony including President Hamid Karzai, in-charges of the government organs and a number of foreign ambassadors accredited in Kabul were also present. At the ceremony, Indian External Affairs Minister said the flag that today is flying at this beautiful hill is a sign of friendship and respect to determination of the people of Afghanistan that sacrificed their sweet lives for independence and freedom of their country. During this ceremony, the minister for external affairs of India also committed a sum of $1 million of her country for rehabilitation and greenery of the area the great flag is hoisted on it. In 2011, India signed an agreement of strategic partnership with Afghanistan and in rehabilitation of Afghanistan this country contributed over $2 billion.
Construction of Delaram high way, construction of the new building of parliament, construction of Salma Dam and tens other projects, are built through economic, professional and technical cooperation of friendly country India or are under construction. India wants to help Afghanistan in military sector and perform its friendly and active contribution in rehabilitation of the country. Minister for external affairs of India has said that anyone who becomes the president of Afghanistan, the New Delhi will cooperate with him. Afghanistan has ancient and historical ties with India. The historical friendly ties between the two countries shows well that Afghanistan and India were friends with each other and with passing fruitful years, this friendship is changed into traditional and historical friendship between the two countries and peoples.
Donation of passenger planes, hundreds buses, construction of child health hospital of Indira Gandhi, cooperation in military and security as well as other sectors are the indicator of traditional and historical ties of India with Afghanistan. The friendly India wants Afghanistan to succeed in counterterrorism and with the support of its people, country-wide security and stability is maintained in this country as soon as possible so it is changed as a powerful one from economic point of view. India completely believes that the efforts of the people of Afghanistan to be reached into success for democracy, social justice, progress and this country is capable to defend itself and its people also are capable to build their country and have access to expansion. India supports this success of Afghanistan people. Likewise, India is also committed to continue its cooperation in rehabilitation of Afghanistan in the future. India regards stability and strength in Afghanistan in the benefit of the people of both countries and hopes to be the witness of a powerful and stable Afghanistan. Indian Minister for External Affairs asserted that the New Delhi helps a democratic and calm Afghanistan and always is ready to help this country in its rehabilitation. In friendship and friendly cooperation between Afghanistan and India has brightened background and the samples of such friendship are witnessing in all fields well.
The people of Afghanistan appreciates all their assistance and regarded them as the sign of historical friendship and believe completely that this friendship and cooperation would continue and with passing of time, would be strengthened in the benefit of friendly and fraternal nations of the two independent countries. In the course of history, friendship among peoples and government is ended in the benefit of progress, development, strengthening amicable ties, maintenance of peace, stability and national and regional security and can also affect positively on world issues. So, it is better that such friendships and amicable and pure ties among peoples and countries are expanded and strengthened and for its enforcement, the government should work responsibly.
The people of Afghanistan always are in well of friendship, brotherhood and amicable and reciprocally beneficial ties with all counties especially with neighboring and regional ones and is willing to live with each other in an atmosphere of joint peace and security. The friendship and friendly cooperation of Indo-Afghan can be a pattern for others, especially for those who are interfering since years in domestic affairs of Afghanistan and in instead of cooperation in progress, development and rehabilitation of Afghanistan support in its backwardness, destruction, insecurity, war, violence and organized crimes and don’t permit to be the witness of a developed, progressive and stable Afghanistan.
