Russian Muslim Scholars to Travel to Afghanistan

KABUL (BNA) The Spiritual administration of Muslims Central Asia (Russia) plans to send a delegation of Muslim scholars to Afghanistan.

The aim of the delegation’s visit is to provide humanitarian assistance to the people of Afghanistan, added the report.

In addition to providing humanitarian assistance to the people of Afghanistan, the Russian scholar’s delegation will visit a number of cities and provinces in the country, said ldar Alyautdinov, deputy director of the Russian Federation’s Muslim Spiritual Affairs administration.

He said he has met with the head of the Afghan ambassador to Russia Jamal Nasser Gharwal to discuss setting a secluded time for delivering humanitarian aid to the Afghan people.

Russian scholars’ delegation visit is scheduled for the summer of the current year, and the assistance they will carry with them mostly includes medical, and clothing.

The Zakat Charitable Foundation is another part of the Russian Spiritual Administration’s visits to Kabul, which will provide assistance to the poor in Afghanistan.

The Russian Spiritual Aid administration, led by prominent Muslim scholars in the country, stressed that their assistance is out of political or racial attention.
