Chief Executive Insists On Addressing Environmental Issues

Kabul (BNA) Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan by participating in a ceremony held on the occasion of commemoration of World Earth Day stressed on the government’s commitment to addressing environmental issues.
“It’s good to celebrate World Earth Day as celebration of the day attracts our attention towards earth’s condition as common home of all human being and other animals living on the earth.
Celebration of the day for us also means to make efforts related to strengthening the culture of protection the environment in the country,” Dr. Abdullah said.
The country’s chief executive assured the people of the government’s serious commitment towards environment, asking the country’s residents to make effort and fulfill their human responsibility for addressing and necessary consideration to environment-related issues and protection of the environment in the country.
According to another report, advisors to chief executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan held their 11th working session at Sapidar Palace.
Advisors in the session while welcoming chief executive for attending the session heard speech delivered by chief executive related to recent work promotion of national unity government and common efforts of the government’s two leaders.
In the session, they also discussed on overall political, security and economic condition of the country.
