Maimana (BNA) Sapling planting program was started in Faryab province yesterday by planting a sapling by deputy governor of the province.
According to Abdul Satar Bariz, deputy governor of Faryab, 50,000 saplings are determined to be planted in this program with close cooperation of relevant government and non-government institutions.
The saplings are to be planted in public places, roads, schools, mosques and parks.
Deputy governor Abdul Satar Bariz asked the people to pay full consideration in irrigation and preservation of the saplings in order that the environment gets clean.
