KABUL(BNA): The spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has announced that Saudi Arabia intends to reopen its embassy in Kabul soon.
Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, the head of the Afghan delegation to Doha and the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate stated that during a meeting with the Saudi Arabian representative, constructive discussions were held between both sides in the lead-up to the Doha meeting.
Mujahid added that Saudi Arabia intends to reopen its embassy in Kabul as soon as possible. He mentioned that the Saudi Arabian representative, in this meeting, expressed a desire for better interactions with Afghanistan.
It is noteworthy that the Afghan delegation had previously met with special representatives from Russia and Uzbekistan in Doha.
