Kabul (BNA) Prolongation of election process has caused 23 percent decrease of the country’s economic incomes, said spokesman of the Ministry of Finance (MoF) Abdul Qader Jailani to media adding that if the election process continues in this way, the foreign aids will be cut and ultimately the MoF would not have the payment capability of the government employees.
According to Jailani, this ministry is facing a budget deficit of Afs 21 billion of development budget but has managed to economize in ordinary budget and could tackle the code 21 which is the salaries of government employees and would not have any problem in payment of salaries of the government employees until the end of 2015. Talking on why the MoF has remained back 20 percent in its six months program, he said over 23 percent economic incomes of the country  has reduced and up to 10 percent reduction has appeared in importing trade that all the reasons behind this backwardness is the prolongation of the election. According to him, the goods with high tariffs are not imported in these days or if imported it is in a slight scale. But the MoF spokesman hopes to convince the donors and these countries would realize the problems of the Afghan government and continue their aids.
