Kabul (BNA) Semeen Hassanzada deputy minister for publication of the Ministry of Information and Culture in her meeting with the awareness sections officials of ISAF discussed awareness and struggle against explosives and road-side mines with them.
While Khalil Menavi head of the BNA was also present Hassanzada provided explanation on the performances of the awareness committee and emphasized on positive role of the media of the country in this respect. She added that the awareness committee will hold an awareness seminar for the teachers of schools, imams of mosques with the cooperation of Hajj and Endowment Ministry, Education and the awareness section of ISAF.
The head of ISAF awareness section General Scoft Nurude while praising the activities of the assigned committee and voiced his cooperation and support with respect to holding of the awareness seminar in this connection.
It should be noted that the assigned commission has started its activities for the past one year and it is carrying awareness about the danger emanating from explosives and road side mines and the method for struggle against this ugly phenomenon.
