Kandahar (BNA) As a result of armed oppositions attack, police chief of Rygistan district along with his five bodyguards was killed yesterday evening.
Dowakhan Minapal a responsible of police chief in Kandahar province told BNA, 10 Taliban militants attacked on Rygistan district’s building, in which police chief of the district along with his five bodyguards was killed.
Minapal added, seven insurgents also were killed in the incident and so far, their bodies remained to the battlefield.
According to another report, armed oppositions attacked on a police checkpoint in Zheri district of Kandahar province, as a result of which 24 armed rebels were killed and a policeman was martyred yesterday.
