Kabul (BNA) The Australian Foreign Minister in meeting with Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani at the sideline of 70th General Assembly of the United Nations in New York assured her country’s continued support to Afghanistan, BNA reported. Australia would continue to support Afghanistan within the framework of NATO-led Resolute Support (RS) mission, the Australian foreign minister said in the meeting. Expressing gratitude to Australia over its contribution to Afghanistan in different sectors, the foreign minister Rabbani called for continued training of Afghan diplomats in Australia. At the meeting matters of bilateral relations including the situation in Afghanistan and Afghan government’s peace efforts were also discussed.
