Kabul (BNA) A scientific and research seminar titled ‘Bamyan in the course of history’ is expected to be held in August by Ministry of Information and Culture in Kabul.
Therefore, a commission of ten members has been appointed by the ministry to provide the seminar’s preliminaries.
Minister of Information and Culture Dr. Sayed Makhdoom Raheen told BNA, “We’re in touch with SAARC organization related to appointment of Bamyan as South Asian countries’ cultural center in 2015, adding the seminar will be a first step in this regard.”
Minister of Information and Culture asked knowledgeable figures and experts of Bamyan history to submit their researches and articles to Deputy Ministry of Culture before August.
