Faizabad (BNA) Counter-narcotic police of Badakhshan province discovered 300 kg of opium in Faizabad-Takhar highway.
Colonel Mosadiqullah Muzafari counter-narcotic head of Badakhshan security directorate told BNA, the opium was skillfully placed in a tractor and smuggled from Orgo district, to Balkh province, discovered by counter-narcotic police in Badakhshan-Takhar highway.
According to the source, the driver of the tractor has been arrested and is under investigation.
