Ezedyar Confers Senate’s Medal To Passport Department Chief

Kabul (BNA) Senate’s first deputy, Mohammad Alam Ezedyar heard yesterday working report of Col. Sayed Omar Saboor, head of passport department for MoI.
In a meeting held with participation of a number of senators, head of passport department by delivering brief information related to modality of distribution process of passport in particular digital ones said more than 3,000 passports were daily distributed to people, adding that for better services to those asking for passports, effective programs were underway in connection with increase of structure and technical equipment of the department.    
He further said nearly 15,000 digital passports had been distributed to pilgrims during the current year and the process was continuing. Following, Senate’s first deputy praised head of passport department for prevention of corruption, setting up sound management, good behavior with people and good initiative in acceleration of the process, conferred Senate’s medal to head of passport department for his services, wishing him further successes in his careers.
