NSC Meeting Discusses Some Provinces’ Security Issues

Kabul (BNA) A meeting of the National Security Council (NSC), chaired by the country’s president, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani discussed some key issues including security plans for Farah, Faryab, Kunduz, Oruzgan and Ghazni provinces, after the security and defense officials provided reports about, a statement from the Presidential Palace said.
The meeting resolved that enemy should be fought back and eliminated in the said provinces and additional forces should be deployed in the regions further than ever, the statement added.
The meeting thanked the efforts of the delegation chaired by Gen. Murad Ali Murad, the senior security deputy Interior minister, sent to Ghazni province to successfully resolve the dispute and asked the delegation to provide the detailed report about its work and submit to the National Security Council office.
