Kabul (BNA) 72 armed insurgents killed following Afghan security forces operations during the past 24 hours.
Interior ministry press office said BNA, Afghan security forces conducting clearing operations on Jouzjan, Logar, Helmand, Maidan Wardak and Nuristan provinces killed 72 insurgents, wounded 72 and arrested 10 others.
Also national police forces discovered and defused 62 mines from relevant areas of Takhar, Kunduz, Faryab, Sar-e-Pul, Uruzgan, Zabul, Maidan Wardak, Paktia, Herat, Ghazni and Logar provinces.
