Farah (BNA) A number of villages in Poshtkoh District, Farah were cleared from Taliban yesterday.
Farah police spokesman told BNA local correspondent that the militants had cleared the villages of Qala-e-Kah, Jalalabad and Bazaar-e-Poshtkoh districts from the Taliban in a clearing operation they had launched in the district two days ago.
According to the source, five armed Taliban were killed and three others were wounded in the operation.
The Taliban did not comment in this regard.
