Kabul (BNA) Terrorists and enemies of peace and stability of Afghanistan launched suicide and armed attack early Thursday morning on 2nd PD of Ghazni city martyring dozens of innocent civilians and injuring hundreds others.
Hamid Karzai, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan while seriously condemning the brutal and un-Islamic act of the terrorists wished paradise to martyrs of the incident and urgent recovery to the injured. President Karzai has approved and tasked a delegation led by Minister of Public Works Eng. Najibullah Ozhan and the following members to investigate the incident:
1. Maj. General Sayed Rahim Sayeed, representative of general directorate of administrative affairs and secretariat of council of ministers;
2. Brigadier General Ghulam Farooq, representative of NDS;
3. General Abdul Jabar Purdeli, representative of MoI;
4. Brigadier General Sharafuddin, representative of Attorney General Office;
5. Colonel Salih Mohammad, representative of MoD;
6. Merwais Shah Amiri, representative of Independent Administration of Local Organs;
7. A four-member technical group of MoI.
The delegation is tasked to pass condolence and sympathy message of presidential office to the victims’ families and was tasked for overall reviewing the incident and current security situations with cooperation of local officials, religious Ulema, elders and local influenced figures. The delegation was also tasked to estimate the losses of government buildings and local people’s property and discuss and necessarily cooperate with local security organs for prevention of such incidents in the province.
