Kabul (BNA) In a mine explosion a commander of local police of Bala Block district of Farah province killed.
The incident occurred at 4:00pm yesterday when the vehicle of Gen. Mulhim hit a roadside mine in Kasank area, Bala Block district.
Abdul Rahman Zhawandui spokesperson of Farah governor said BNA, in the event Gen. Mulhim police local commander with his two bodyguards were killed.
It has been said, that the planted mine controlled by remote while security conveys was moving the mine exploded.
Meanwhile, spokesperson of Farah governor claimed that armed oppositions are responsible of the terrorist attack and security forces started searching operation for identifying of the suspects.
Gen. Mulhim was a Jehad commander who was recently appointed as Bala Balock police local commander.
According to the resident of the district, the commander had basic role in reducing terrorist activities and defeating of armed oppositions in the district.
