Kabul (BNA) Afghan National Defense and Security Forces succeeded to capture control of Shaikh Ali district, central Parwan province from Taliban group this morning.
Ministry of Interior in a statement said, Afghan security forces by launching a military operation have captured control of Shaikh Ali district.
Taliban fighters have sustained heavy losses during the military operation, but the exact number is not clear, the statement added.
Some heavy and light weapons and ammunitions belonged to Taliban fighters have been seized by Afghan security forces during the operation, the statement concluded.
