Afghan Security Forces Detain Three Insurgents

Kabul (BNA) The Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF), partnered with U.S. Special Forces, detained several known insurgents during a mission in Chamkani district, Paktia province.
Following a joint operation to assess a nearby school in Chamkani, the patrol received reports indicating the presence of four known enemy fighters in the area.
The combined forces quickly moved to interdict the individuals. Upon confirming the location of the insurgents, the ANSF were able to detain the men for questioning.
One of the men, Said Malouk, was identified as a known insurgent leader and improvised explosives expert in the Jani Kheyl area.
No civilians or security forces were killed or injured during this operation.
