Public Health Minister Visits Provincial Hospital in Kandahar, Vows to Improve Healthcare Services

 

KABUL (BNA) Dr. Qalandar Ibad, the Acting Minister of Public Health, recently paid a visit to a provincial hospital in Kandahar, reaffirming the ministry’s commitment to enhancing the quality of healthcare services and uplifting the capacity of healthcare personnel.

During his visit, Dr. Ebad closely examined the provision of healthcare services at the hospital, aiming to gain firsthand knowledge of the challenges and opportunities within the healthcare system.

Accompanied by his delegation, Dr. Najibullah Dawari, the head of public health in Kandahar, the Acting Minister embarked on a thorough inspection of Mirwais Hospital, where he took the time to personally meet with patients receiving care.

Dr. Ebad’s presence at the hospital not only provided an opportunity to assess the existing healthcare infrastructure but also allowed him to engage directly with patients and understand their experiences.

During his interactions with the hospital staff, Dr. Ibad provided necessary recommendations for the delivery of quality healthcare services.

He emphasized the importance of collaboration and pledged to work closely with the hospital administration to address the challenges faced by healthcare professionals and patients alike.

In a statement shared via the Ministry’s office, Dr. Ibad expressed his determination to initiate a series of initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of healthcare services in the province.
