Kabul (BNA) At least 28 armed oppositions were killed following Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) operations across the country during the last 24 hours.
Ministry of National Defense press offices spokesman in a statement today reported BNA, the operations launched to annihilate Taliban militants in various parts of Gereshk district, Helmand province, Chapa Dara and Sarkani districts, Kunar province, Andar district of Ghazni Ginrab district of Urozgan and Laghman provinces, as a result 28 armed rebels were killed, 8 wounded and a number of them were arrested by ANSF.
Some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions, explosive materials and war equipment have been discovered and seized following the operations.
