Joint Military Operations Kill 65 Insurgents, Hurt 36 Across The Country

Kabul (BNA) At least 65 Taliban militants were killed and 36 others were injured during mopping-up military operations led by Afghan security forces within the last 24 hours throughout the country.
Ministry of National Defense press office stated Bakhtar News Agency, the operations were carried out with support of Afghan air and artillery forces to suppress armed oppositions and protect the lives and properties of local people in insecure areas of Nangarhar, Kunar, Ghazni, Paktia, Maidan/Wardak, Kandahar, Urozgan, Zabul, Ghor, Farah, Kunduz, Baghlan, Sar-e-Pul, Faryab, Helmand and Khost provinces.
Several senior commanders of Taliban rebels and two ISIS adherents were among the victims of the operations.
Some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions, war equipment, military mobilizations, 5 vehicles and 8 motorcycles have been discovered and seized following the operations by Afghan security personnel, the source added.
Also thirteen Afghan National Army soldiers were martyred during the joint military operations as well.
