Kabul (BNA) Praising the performance of the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF), President Ghani said water, resources, environment, geographical location and the people were the great and important investments of Afghanistan, the President Press Office said in a statement. The president added we should not be disappointed and should turn the risk into an opportunity, according to the statement.
In a video conference with governors, police chief, military commanders, attorneys, religious scholars, elders, public representatives and university chancellors, the president congratulated all on the occasion of Eidul Fitr, the statement added. In his address to security organs, the president asked them to come up with a strategy regarding logistics-related problems in order urgent steps could be taken for their solution. President Ghani said positive changes had come to the law enforcement in the country and further positive developments were expected in the next five years.
The president said solutions to problems in the justice and judicial sector in districts would be found in order people could easily access the sector.
Calling ulama role in creating awareness about key issues as important, the president said Afghanistan was a role model in the world for religious harmony. “Our basic aim is to restore peace and stability and in this regard a political and social consensus will be created to reach a positive end,” the president said. The president asked political parties to play their role in promoting health and political competitions.
