Sixteen Armed Taliban Killed And Wounded

Maimana (BNA) Nine armed Taliban were killed in a clash by Afghan security forces in Faryab province last night.
Abdul Qadir Qaderi governor of Pashtoonkot district, Faryab province stated BNA, the clash started in Takhtabazar region, Pashtoonkot district, when tens of armed Taliban attacked on a security post, as a result the resistance forces, nine armed Taliban killed and seven others wounded.
According to Qaderi, the clash was launched by Taliban for capturing the security post and after clash, Taliban fled the site.
He added, the dead bodies of Taliban remained in the site.
Local officials of the province said there were no casualties among security forces in the incident.  T. Suraya-Yarzada
