Kandahar (BNA) The sixth district of Kandahar city was cleared from armed Taliban yesterday.
According to BNA,, Kandahar Governor Ruhollah Khanzada , accompanied by Deputy Chief of Interior Abdul Rahman Rahman, visited the Central Prison and a number of security checkpoints after the end of the military operation in the sixth district.
The officials also met with a number of Kandahar residents and assured them that the local government and administration have a strong will to ensure security in the city and districts and will not allow the enemy to achieve their nefarious goals.
