Kabul (BNA) Afghan security forces killed 8 armed insurgents during the last 24 hours.
Interior ministry press office said BNA, Afghan security forces launching several clearing operations in relevant areas of Kunar, Kunduz, Zabul and Helmand provinces killed 8 armed insurgents and arrested 6 others.
In the operations a quantity of ammunitions and explosive materials seized.
According to another report, Ghazni police forces succeeded to discover four mines the other day.
Interior ministry press office said BNA, Afghan police forces while patrolling discovered and defused four mines which were planted by armed oppositions in relevant areas of Khwaja Omari district of Ghazni province.
