Sixty-five Taliban Insurgents Killed in Farah Airstrike

Farah (BNA) Sixty-five armed Taliban were killed in an airstrike in Farah last night.

Farah police spokesman Ghulam Farooq Hazrati told BNA that the airstrikes took place on Taliban strongholds in suburbs of central Farah, Kababi, Ada Masaw and the old town of Pashtrood district resulted in wich 65 Taliban insurgents including their two key commanders were killed.

According to Hazrati, four Taliban bases and three vehicles were also destroyed in the attack.

The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
