CM Discusses Short, Long-term Commitments Made In London Conference

Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani presided over the meeting of the cabinet here yesterday, BNA reported.
At the outset of the meeting, the minister of finance as per agenda briefed the cabinet about the achievement of the government with regard to bringing reforms prioritized at London conference.
Out of 26 conditions prioritized at the London conference, the minister said that 12 indexes which included formation of national committee for procurement, revision three big custom offices, renewing the system in central bank, implementing the law to check violence against women, national working program for women, etc, while work for meeting the remaining five indexes has been continuing.
The cabinet also called upon the ministry of justice to begin for reforms in justice and judiciary sector, reform in registering private business and clarifying the role of AISA (Afghanistan Investment Support Agency) and program for capacity building.
The cabinet also tasked the ministry of justice to present its report to the next meeting of the cabinet.  Moreover, the ministry of refugees and repatriation and the ministry for foreign affairs presented their reports about registering identify of Afghans living in Pakistan.
The minister of Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled also presented her report to the cabinet.
