Kabul (BNA) During military operations nine armed insurgents arrested and four others killed in Kandahar province.
Gen. Rahmatullah Atrafi police chief of Kandahar province in a press conference said, in the operation the security forces succeeded to kill four armed insurgents and arrest nine and wound one.
Gen. Atrafi pointing to the improvement of security in Kandahar said for establishing a proper atmosphere of living, they try to marginalize the terrorist groups among them armed Taliban and prevent them from destructive activities.
According to the figures during the last week Kandahar police forces launched six military operations.
