Kabul (BNA) The third meeting for presenting reports of heads of provincial cultural departments of the ministry for information and culture was opened by Nabi Farahi on Sunday with the objective to improve performances.
According to BNA correspondent, the head of Human Resources directorate, Rohul Amin Habibi in his speech besides welcoming the participants said that the aim of holding this three-day seminar is to improve the performances, bring harmony between center and provinces, sharing experiences and good planning.
In his speech, Nabi Farahi pointed out that holding such seminars is useful if the reports of heads of cultural and information departments in the provinces are based on reality and identifying the weak points in their works. Calling for the preservation of archeological sites, Farahi in his address urged the writers, poems and cultural figures to play their role in preserving cultural heritages and promoting book reading and reviving folklore music besides calling for promotion of tourism in the country. The participants in their speeches in addition to highlighting their program in coming years also identified their problems ahead.
