Kabul (BNA) In the past 24 hours following military operations led by Afghan National Army numerous of Taliban militants were killed, a number of them were wounded and 22 others have been detained across the country.
Ministry of National Defense press office in a statement reported BNA, the operations carried out in various parts of Nangahar, Khost, Paktika, Kandahar, Sar-e-Pul, Kunduz, Faryab, Badghis, Herat and Helmand provinces, in which numerous of Taliban militants were killed ,22 wounded and others were arrested.
Also some weapons and ammunitions have been seized during the operations.
Two Afghan National Army soldiers were martyred following the operations, wishing paradise to the deceased and patience to the remained, the statement added.
