Kabul (BNA) A number of Kunar youth representative asked the ministry of information and culture to build late Mir Zaman Khan statue, but due to insufficient budget, the sketch and draft would be provided, said a statement from the ministry on Tuesday.
In a meeting with the youth coordinative council representatives acting minister of Information and Culture, Prof. Mohammad Rassoul Bawari said this was the responsibility of his ministry to name the streets and roads after the country’s personalities, but had no enough budget to build the monument, according to the statement.
The acting minister asked the organization to help build a monument like what built in Ahmad Shah Baba Mina, to beautify the Mir Zaman Khan square, according to the statement.
