Kabul (BNA) Twenty armed Taliban arrested in operations carried out by national army troops in Kandahar province yesterday.
The operations conducted in Zheri , Maiwand, Panjwai and Arghandab districts of that province.
According to 205 army crops directorate of that province, a quantity of heavy and light weapons was seized from armed Taliban.
The source said, 8 motorcycles captured and 152 mines were discovered and defused by national army forces.
According to reports, during the operations conducted five months ago, 40 armed insurgents were killed, 30 wounded and 20 others arrested.
