Jalalabad (BNA) National security forces prevented a suicide attack in Jalalabad city, central of Nangarhar.
A Pakistani suicide bomber has been arrested in connection with the attack.
The attacker was identified and detained before reaching a busy area, the Nangarhar press office said in a news release.
The arrested assailant Hassan al-Rahman said in his first confession that he was a citizen of Karachi, Pakistan and joined the armed Taliban while teaching Islamic sciences at a school in the city.
The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
