MAIMANA (BNA) The work for the supplementary building of Sitara Lycee in Maimana city began yesterday, head of education department of Faryab province said.
The project, according to the official will be constructed in 300 square meters at a cost of 7 million Afghanis with the support of traders and businessmen.
The new one-story building, he added would have eight class rooms.
Built in 1322 Sitara Lycee was promoted to Primary in 1338 and to Lycee in 1348 accommodates some 3300 students at the moment.
