Kabul (BNA) In the name of Allah the most gracious and the most compassionate,
Dear countrymen, sisters and brother, today I am talking about children and elders and buying of medicine without prescriptions and its unauthorized usage.
Some of our countrymen, to economize and without referring to doctor buy medicine and obtain medicine and use them at home.
Sister and brothers, usage of medicine without doctor’s consultation pose serious dangers to the health of children and elders.
Irresponsible treatment is very disastrous for you and your children and, in some instances threaten life for most of the medicine have their side-effects so irresponsible serious impacts and the doctors know how to treat their patients.
In case we refer to the doctor of clinic in time, and use the medicine in time and the amount advised by doctor it is to our interest.
The Ministry of Public Health of Afghanistan has advised all the pharmacies that they should not give medicine to any one without a prescription and each pharmacy requires to have a pharmacist with them.
Despite this some pharmacies are selling medicine without prescription.
I ask all the dear countrymen to refer to hospitals and doctors and obtain medicine with the consultation of a doctor and avoid buying of medicine from the pharmacies on their own and this ensures your health.
Especially everyone should be cautious that giving medicine to children without consulting doctor is very dangerous to their health.
I hope that the pharmacies avoid selling of medicine to anyone without a prescription and they should avoid out dated medicine to their people.
The people should also avoid buying of medicine from street sides.
