Kabul (BNA) A delegation for 209 Shaheen army corps assisted floods affected families in northern Balkh province.
Col. Gen. Aman Mubeen commander of 209 Shaheen army corps along with a delegation from the corps visited flood affected families in Khulm and Sholgara districts of the province and distributed foodstuffs for them.
Following flash floods thousands acres of agricultural lands, gardens and residential homes have been destroyed in relevant areas of Khulm and Sholgara district of the province.
Local official in Balkh says, a delegation aiming to assess situation have been sent to the mentioned districts that after survey, humanitarian assistances will be sent.
