KABUL (BNA) Local officials in Helmand province say two women and a man have been killed in a traffic accident in the province.
Hafiz Rashid head of Information and culture in Helmand said the incident took place late Saturday at a crossroads between Marjah and Nad Ali districts.
According to him, a Townace passenger car collided with a motorcycle, and three people were killed.
Helmand security source said, the driver of the Townace car has been arrested.
Traffic accidents have recently increased in some provinces.
Unauthorized speed, low width of roads, and non-observance of traffic rules by drivers are said to be the main reasons for the occurrence of traffic accidents in the country.
