Kabul (BNA) National Security Advisor Mohammad Hanif Atmar met with French ambassador to Kabul, Jean-Michel Marlaud here yesterday, NSC press office said, adding that the two sides discuses ongoing political and security situation in the country. French ambassador said that his mission is going to finish in the coming days, adding that would continue to support the recent policies of the government of Afghanistan, in particular the government’s stance against the terrorists. Praising the ambassador Marlaud’s efforts in bolstering the ties between the two countries, the statement added that the national security advisor termed ambassador’s mission as successful in Afghanistan. Hinting to importance of the cooperation in the field of economy and education, Atmar hoped such cooperation to be continued in the future as well. The two sides also discuss the ongoing refugee crisis in European countries, the statement concluded.
