Qala-e-Naw (BNA) Local officials of Badghis reported from killing of 22 armed Taliban rebels in Band Sabz region, Qads District of that province yesterday.
Naqibullah Amini police spokesman of Badghis told BNA correspondent, the rebels have been killed after they stormed on police checkpoints in Qarchaqi region, of the mentioned district.
He added the attack of Taliban was faced with sever resistance of police forces, in which 22 Taliban rebels were killed and 16 others have been injured.
Five police including Adul Hakim Khan Mododi commander of police contingent was martyred and four other policemen have been injured in the event.
