Kabul (BNA) Over 57 armed rebels were killed and 35 others were injured during joint military operations conducted by Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) across the country within the last 24 hours.
According to information of Ministry of Defense spokesman press office to BNA, the operations were launched with support of Afghan air and artillery forces to protect lives and properties of people and suppress Taliban militants in insecure areas of Nangarhar, Ghazni, Paktia, Maidan/Wardak, Kandahar, Urozgan, Ghor, Farah, Kunduz, Baghlan, Jawzjan, Helmand and Paktika provinces.
Also three Afghan National Army soldiers were martyred following the operations, the source added.
