CEO Dr. Abdulllah Meets President Erdogan

Kabul (BNA) The chief executive officer of the government Dr. Abdullah Abdullah held meeting with Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Presidential Palace yesterday. 
BNA reported, in the meeting, the Turkish president congratulated Dr. Abdullah over assuming office and also assured his country’s continued support to Afghanistan. Expressing happiness over inking strategic cooperation agreement between Afghanistan and Turkey, Dr. Abdullah hoped that tripartite talks among Afghanistan, Turkey and Pakistan known Ankara process would help restore viable peace and security in Afghanistan. The chief executive officer besides expressing gratitude over providing scholarships to Afghan students and training of military personnel urged for Turkish investment in mining and fuel and gas. Dr. Abdullah also called for formation of joint commission between the ministries of the two countries to implement agreements reached between the two nations.
