Kabul (BNA) National Aarmy Special Forces arrested a local commander of armed insurgents in Helmand province the other day.
According to Ministry of Interior press office to BNA, National army forces launched an operation for clearing the area from existence of insurgents in relevant areas of Nahrsraj district, Helmand province as a result of which a local commander of armed rebels arrested.
The source added, a PK machinegun, two Kalashnikovs, four grenades and a communication means have been seized by security forces in the operation.
