Badakhshan (BNA) In the recent rains and floods dozens of families displaced in Badakhshan province.
Ahmad Naweed Frootan Badakhshan governor spokesman said BNA, as a result of heavy rains and floods in relevant areas of Shakhdan and Baloch villages of Keshm district, more than 45 residential houses and 780 acres of agriculture lands and some irrigational canals destroyed.
Frootan added, a team of anti-disaster campaign department visited the site, and is due to hold an emergency meeting with the authorities of the province to provide essential aids to the displaced families.
He further said, the displaced families have been settled in neighboring districts.
