Takhar (BNA) Residents of Takhar strongly condemned yesterday’s suicide attack on worshipers at a mosque in Khan Abad district of Kunduz, which martyred and injured dozens of civilians, calling it an un-Islamic and inhumane act.
According BNA reporter, residents of Takhar, expressing their grief and sympathy with the families of the victims, say that the people are tired of the murder and bloodshed in the country and can no longer tolerate further suffering.
A number of other Takhar residents expressed concern about their future and called on the Islamic Emirate to strengthen its security and intelligence institutions to prevent a recurrence of such a deadly event in the country.
It is worth mentioning that the Khorasan branch of the ISIS group has claimed responsibility for this deadly event by issuing a statement.
Forty-six civilians were killed and more than 100 were injured in the incident, according to the Kunduz director of information and culture.
