Kabul (BNA) As many as 46 armed oppositions were killed, 40 injured and 15 more were arrested during joint military operations led by Afghan security forces within the last 24 hours across the country.
Ministry of national defense press office stated BNA, the operations has launched by support of Afghan air forces to suppress armed rebels and protect the lives and properties of people in insecure areas of Nangarhar, Kapisa, Maidan/Wardak, Khost, Ghazni, Urozgan, Zabul, Farah, Badghis, Herat, Faryab, Nimroz and Helmand provinces.
Some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions and military equipment have been discovered and seized during the operations as well, the source added.
Afghan national defense and security forces by launching air and group operations are trying to eradicate armed oppositions from various parts of the country.
