Kabul (BNA) Six terrorists belonging to notorious Haqqani network have been detained in joint security operation conducted by national army and national police forces in Sabari and Baak districts of Khost province.
The National Directorate of Security (NDS) personnel said that the arrested terrorists include Rahimullah and Sattar, two commanders of the network.
Other four terrorists are identified as Awal Mir, Seyal, Mohammad Amir and Abdullah were involved in destructive activities, planting mines, transferring weapons to terrorist groups and attack on convoys of militaries.
Five Kalashnikovs, a binocular and two walky-talkies were confiscated from the possession of the terrorists.
